Live happily in life

Proverbs 22:24-25

"Do not make friends with a hot-tempered person, do not associate with one easily angered, or you may learn their ways and get yourself ensnared."

Philippians 4:4

"Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!"

The people of God are, or should be, the happiest people on earth! Not because life with Jesus is always smooth or everything goes perfectly, but because Jesus Christ is our joy, our source of hope and peace. He is the reason for our existence. We also have the certainty that He cares for us and loves us unconditionally. For all these reasons, we have more than enough to be joyful.

Do not let yourself be negatively influenced. Your joy should not be dependent on problems or difficulties. Everything Jesus has already done is sufficient to motivate our daily sense of humor. Christ gave Himself in love, allowing us to live a new life with hope and joy.

Rejoice in God

• Remember every morning what Jesus has done in your life. He loves you with everlasting love!

• Give thanks for the salvation, forgiveness, transformation, and liberation that God has brought into your life.

• Read the Bible and fill your heart with true satisfaction through the Word of God.

• Praise, sing, and worship the Lord! Celebrate the abundant grace promoted by Christ.

• Influence everyone around you with the true joy of the Spirit.

For prayer:

Lord God, You are the reason for my joy! Even when difficult days come, my heart will rejoice in the marvelous salvation that Christ secured for me. Help me not to become bitter or discontented like those who do not know You. Equip me to be a light radiating peace, love, and true joy. Your joy strengthens me, today and always. In Jesus' name, amen.
