Pastor Emperatriz Lugo, born in Colombia, called to the pastorate in Denver, Colorado, where she has served for 30 years oriented towards the Hispanic community. She is a God-fearing woman, willing to serve her neighbor. Strongly motivated by the Lord, she undertakes the work of raising a church committed to establish a city for Jesus Christ. Pastor Emperatriz Lugo, following God's assignment according to Matthew 28:18-20: "Go and make disciples of all nations", is reorganizing the Ministry and LIGTH TO THE NATIONS is born in response to this call, reaching not only the Hispanic people, but also all the nations of the world. God equips and prepares us and has given us the commandment.

In these 30 years of service, Pastor Empress has developed the different functions that make up the pastoral ministry, in which she continues to work hard in prayer and intercession, teaching, counseling, visits to homes, hospitals, prisons, general attention to the community and congregants, chaplain in detention centers, restoration, establishment and affirmation of the family according to the word of God, preparation and instruction of children and youth focusing on the conquest of the nations and the flow of the gifts of the holy spirit and purposes of God, restoration, establishment and affirmation of the family according to the word of God, preparation and instruction of children and youth focusing on the conquest of the nations and the flow of the gifts of the holy spirit and purposes of God, also projecting the assignment to women to be elevated and projected in all aspects of their lives.

In addition to her work in Colorado, Pastor Empress has dedicated the last 12 years to work with people of different nations in missionary work, establishing medical units, orphanages, taking the word to different nations and establishing pastors, orphanages, medical units and schools.
With an Apostolic vision, Pastor Empress is traveling to various nations of the world taking the word of God, transforming lives and strengthening churches. Along with other Colorado ministers, she has worked for pastoral unity and to lift up prayer and intercession for the state. Pastor Empress is a woman that God has been preparing her in several areas, she has obtained a Masters in Pastoral Ministry, Doctorate in Divinity, and Doctorate in Counseling, from C.C.U. University (USA).
