"She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins." All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: "The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel" (which means "God with us"). (Matthew 1:21-23)
Have you ever had the chance to meet or talk to someone famous in the media or politics? Maybe it happened by chance, but the truth is that this is not very common. As a general rule, famous people don’t make it easy for people to approach them. It’s natural that things work like this in the world: people with a certain status, fame, authority, or a lot of money are inaccessible and out of reach.
If there was ever a need for personal contact with an artist, authority figure, or someone very famous, it would be very difficult to arrange. You’d have to check their availability in advance with their assistants, secretaries, producers, insurers, etc.
But, hallelujah! The logic in God’s Kingdom is very different. The all-powerful God came to meet us. He, who can sustain the entire universe in His hands, gave up His glory to come and save us. Exalted above the heavens and the earth, Jesus Christ came personally to us. He is God with us! The best part is that we don’t need intermediaries to approach Jesus. There’s no need for any human representative, angel, or religion to speak with or be with Christ. He is fully human and fully divine and desires a relationship with us. Jesus took the first step… Go meet Him!
He came!
Pray and thank God for Jesus Christ. It is because of Him that we have free access, communion, and peace with God.
If you haven’t received Him into your life yet, do it now! He is only a prayer away…

For Prayer:
Lord God, thank you so much for sending us Jesus. He became flesh and dwelt in this world because of His love for us, to reach us for You. Thank you, Father, because Your Kingdom is one of life, love, and You do not despise the humble who seek You with a sincere heart. May I receive Christ every day in my life, in my home, and wherever I go. Stay with us, Lord, now and always. Amen.
