We know that God answers our prayers, but we do not know when. Because we don’t know when He will respond, we become anxious and even impatient with God. However, you must understand that the Lord answers our prayers at the right time.
I will stand at my guard post and station myself on the ramparts; I will keep watch to see what He will say to me, and what answer I am to give to this complaint.
(Habakkuk 2:1)
The prophet Habakkuk prayed to God seeking His guidance. The people of God were losing their identity, drifting away from the Lord’s commandments, and this troubled the prophet. Habakkuk did not receive an immediate answer to his prayer, but he did not complain. He waited attentively for God’s voice.
God may answer us immediately, but there are situations where timing is also part of the response. So, speak with God and wait patiently for His answer. Be attentive to the signs and remain faithful. You can be sure that God will respond at the precise moment.
God answers our prayers
Do not place conditions on God. Speak with Him and wait for His response with patience and attention.
God will answer your prayer; believe it. He never leaves us without a response.
If your answer has not yet arrived, wait and keep praying.
If something troubles you, pray again. Persisting in prayer is an exercise of faith.
To pray:
Lord, I want to speak to You again. I trust in You, and that is why I cry out to You once more, for there is no one else who can hear me and change my circumstances but You. Speak to me, answer my prayer. In Your powerful name, Amen.
