Free yourself from all yokes with God's help.

"So if the Son sets you free, you will be truly free." (John 8:36)

God cares about your total liberation. Sometimes we think that the freedom given by God only concerns the spiritual realm, but the Lord also wants you to be free in emotional, physical, and relational aspects.

Often, we find ourselves trapped in abusive relationships or adopt compulsive behaviors (with food, drink, activities, or drugs). In doing so, we begin to self-sabotage and destroy ourselves. Additionally, we tend to cling to the past and struggle to forgive others as well as ourselves.

If you recognize the existence of any kind of prison in your life, pray to God and ask Him to bring about complete liberation right now.

Be truly free in Christ!

• Reflect for a moment and observe what or who has been your “oppressor” in your daily life.

• Pray, seek God, and ask Him to set you free completely.

• Ask Christ for help to break free from bad habits, past events, and even relationships that oppress you.

• Learn more about Jesus. Read the Bible and develop a true friendship with God daily.

To pray:

Lord, my God, set me free from everything that imprisons me! Open my eyes and my awareness to realize that I can be free in You. Help me to live the true freedom won by Jesus Christ. May Your Holy Spirit work this miracle within me. May that transformation reflect in all areas of my life. May everything I do be for Your glory. In Your name, Jesus! Amen.
