Better days are coming

Therefore, we do not lose heart. On the contrary, though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. (2 Corinthians 4:16-17)

There is a time for everything under heaven: a time to be joyful, a time to weep, a time to sow, and a time to reap what has been sown. The days are challenging, and the struggle can be exhausting at times. But even when we are weary, we must remember that the Kingdom of God requires effort, so being perseverant is a practical exercise of faith.

God knows our condition and the importance of our spiritual growth. All things work together for the good of those who love God! Our efforts are not in vain. At the right moment, God will be glorified, and we will enjoy better days.

Do not be discouraged; persevere!

• If you are tired, be honest—talk to God about your weariness. He will renew your strength!

• When the resistance is great, the victory will be as well.

For prayer:

Lord, I am tired, but I renew my strength in You. The struggle is great; pour out Your anointing on me. I know that after the tribulation comes rest, so strengthen me to overcome the barriers in my life. In Jesus' name, Amen.
